This week Steve has been away from the Sprechen office for a few days assisting a client at a high-profile automotive show in Birmingham's NEC. It was the culmination of months of planning and hard work to create innovative and engaging ways to share their products range and services with the aftermarket garage market. A location-based offer on their website will be visible only to those at the NEC or the immediate surroundings, and people who visit the stand can explore an interactive car component and try out their bespoke game, designed to educate visitors about their products. The show finishes on Friday and we look forward to seeing the impact of the upgraded expo stand and its components on our client's show sales inquiries.
Vicky has been working on monthly reports for our clients as well as the usual content creation for all manner of marketing channels. She's also hit the gym for the first time in a while (she has been out of action after an unfortunate incident with an ankle and a rabbit hole) so is once again unable to negotiate stairs or get out of the office chair without squeaking.
In our spare time we've been all over the country getting stuck into fun events like the Hampshire Police open day and the Royal Bath and West Show. We truly believe in squeezing as much as we an out of our spare time to make sure the work/life balance is positive - after all happy workers are more productive and creative workers!
It's Vicky's birthday on Friday so she'll be escaping the office a little early to head off for a weekend of cider drinking in the Somerset sunshine with her family, and the ever-present Sprechen spaniel. Steve will be celebrating his father's birthday this weekend as well, so the team has all its' fingers crossed for some sunny weather to enjoy some outside celebrations in.
