The end result of months of hard work by Steve and the other Winchester Round-tablers was enjoyed by thousands of people this past Saturday evening when the 57th annual Bonfire and Fireworks kicked off, starting with a torch-lit procession through the city centre before the 'main event' of noise and light! This is an event that has become a firm fixture in the diary for many Winchester folk, providing a fantastic evening's entertainment whilst also raising over £40,000 for local charities - win win! We hope you managed to make it along and enjoyed the show.
Life at Sprechen HQ scampers on as normal - it's been reading week for the University of Winchester so Steve squeezed in lots of meetings and coding. Lots of meetings does mean there are now some quite spectacular 'to do' lists sitting on all of our desks, but we love what we do so this isn't a bad thing. Steve has also been out with his hard hat on photographing a client's latest projects while Vicky has been writing website and social media for many a client. It's all about tags - meta tags, title tags, hashtags..
Perhaps motivated by last week's blog (or probably just because he felt like it) Steve has rediscovered his running trainers and started pounding the pavements again. Vicky is also working hard to get as fit as possible before the arrival of Christmas and the season of eating, drinking and being merry undoes all her good work. Vicky whizzed off to Paris for a long weekend - red wine, the Sacre Cour and the Eiffel Tower all made an appearance - tres exitant!
